Mrs. Hecker's husband Don came in 1st period with donuts.
3rd period I overheard Loni and Barb talking about whether Barb should say yes to YKW? No matter. I have back up. It's become a a habit to say good morning to Adam Koelher every day.
The game was OK. I sat by Michelle the whole time. YKW + Ryan walked by a few times, scanning the bleachers.
The dance was boring. I saw YKW and Barb dancing twice. I'm jealous. Even the ugly girls get dances. Even the stupid guys hate me.

OK, Hooters didn't call. I got called back to Nunsense and the lead in Emperor and got the ballerina role in Nunsense. I was very disappointed, so I asked if I could go to Emperor callbacks. Everyone said yes, but I didn't get it. Then Poopie tells me that Yifat screwed up my good intentions and now everyone thinks I'm a diva. Maggie deserved my ballerina part.
I'm thirsting for the real world. Bob is dating a Ryan Nowlin lookalike. I have been hanging out with Kevin, Amy, Anne, Sean, Matty and Martinez and I love it. Kurt is now in my theatre history class. He's been making eyes at me and asking me to do stuff and I've been aloof and even rude. He got the email I sent earlier this summer (where I apologized for Poopie and the way I treated him) right before he discovered I was in his class. He had called right after he'd read it. Anyway, this weekend I spent with Anne and Martinez and she said they saw him with another girl. So of course, now I want him. That's the way I work and it sucks. I pushed him away and he left and now I want him back.

In 1st period Jamie Michaels and I volunteered to be tenors. The only girls in a group of guys. I was snappy with Nick Neelis and I'm sorry I was.
In 4th period, Michelle told me how YKW and Barb "flirt" by talking, and Barb teasing him with papers, which made him mad. I miss YKW.
At lunch that guy came and called me Rebecca the slut. I was peeved. Michelle said he liked me. When we left, she wanted to go back because she LIKED how he called me RTS! What a gaywad.
Kristen Groffner is on crutches. I would have subbed for her but she'll be walking soon.
At practice, since Cindy's always at F-ball training, Mrs. Thompson got mad and appointed her alternate until (Cindy) she could prove herself.
Mr. Mercer said the play might be "The Good Doctor". ?

In 1st period, Michelle wanted us to have a note notebook. I said NO WAY! You know what that can lead to! I felt kind of guilty though. She bought the notebook and all.
3rd period Jessica Holland was nice to me, somewhat. She started to say something about YKW, but was interrupted. It sounded important.
In 4th period Michelle takes everything I own and examines it.
In lunch I sit at the semi popular table. I hate it. I'm turning into a real nerd. There was some older guy who knew Lisa Hoffman really well and came to sit by us. He was insulting but very funny. I still don't know who he is.

Dan took my ID card and kept it. He also said he'll buy me a Rocky Horror Picture Show t-shirt for my birthday. From the way he acts, I think he likes me, but one can never be too sure.

Today we went to Uncle Owen + Aunt Vicki's. I played Nintendo, and ate olives. I also played with Kaetlyn's Jurassic Park velociraptor that screams. We saw the Serrani's on the way home.

Tara Donegan told me that Kirt is going into surgery this Thurs. then coming to school 2 wks after. She asked him if he was still going out with me; he said he heard I was using him so he didn't call me all summer. He did, though. I was never home and didn't return his calls. Oh well. In 7th period there's a frosh named Dan Burke. He's cute (And acts like Kirt)

Well, it's exactly one year later and BOYFRIEND 4 and I broke up. Well, I dumped him. Over email, of course. For the past week we've been emailing our breakup. Well, I've been breaking up, he doesn't really say too much besides how he hates it and how awful he feels. I have yet to hear him say anything in his defense, or anything to stop me from going.
I dumped him because I never saw him, he won't call me his girlfriend, and I'm not a part of his life in any way. So I've joined the ranks of Melissa and Alisa and all the other girls who dumped him for not giving enough. And he's sad, just like he was with them. And I guess that's it.
I never thought I'd ever dump someone I love.

I didn't go to the dance. I was only allowed on the phone for 15 mins. I accidentally stayed on for like, 17 or 20.
It's another boring day. Haley Smith slept over, today we're going to Uncle Nick's and Aunt Von's.
I miss Sandusky. I love it up there and I'm glad we're renting a beachouse for a week there in the summer. It's on Cedar Point Road, a lane full of houses on Lake Erie. We'll go to CP once that week and that's the day BOY can come up. But mom won't let him spend the night. It's prejudice. Just cause he's a boy. He's my best friend, and my boyfriend. It's not like he'll do anything.

Amy said Beth hates me and makes fun of my singing. Another one dragged on to Heinrich's side.
In 7th period, Tony was in the Social Studies office flirting with Holly. I don't care.
This weekend, Suze will see Greg at States. It's not fair, but that's life. C'est la vie. Or something.

NO SCHOOL!! What a great surprise! The water main broke! So I tagged along with Julie and Sharon when they went to find outfits for the Talent Show. Julie, Sharon, Sabrina, Andrea, Nikki Freska and Angie Dibiase are dancing in the background while Paul and Ben rap up front. Then I watched them all practice in Julie's basement. I even danced a little. I felt really in the way though. And when Paul and Ben came and said they were treating everyone to lunch, I left. Paul kinda ignored me. I was sort of disappointed. It could be cause he just got off the phone with his ex that he's obsessed with. Oh well.
I called BOY when I got home, but it was too late for us to do anything cause he had to stay home at 4:00 and work at 6:00. It was SOOOOO warm!! I even opened up my windows!!

SNOW DAY!! When we least expected it!
I went sledding with Holly G and Marion. Christina cryed because her parents wouldn't let her come. We went to the hill in Berea where I went years ago with Paulette, Holly S, Stacey and Christie Winners.
Guess who showed up just as we were leaving? YKW! He might have seen me go down the hill. What are the odds of him showing up?

It's before school. I only have a few minutes. We had Ski Club last night. The usual with Kirt but on the bus Greg Manning, Kirt and I were all talking:
"Everyone likes her." (Kirt)
"Jason Brown, Craig..." (me)
"Me." (Kirt)
"YKW still does." (Greg)
"What?" (me)
"He did last year, too." (Greg)
"Then why didn't he ask me out?" (me)
"He says he doesn't ask girls out, they ask him." (Greg)
What an ego. But the shocker was on the slopes:
"Hey Jess!" (YKW)
"Huh?"
"Do you have your Black?"
"No."
"Then you shouldn't be on these hills!"
He talked to me! He called me Jess, not Wilderbeast! Although, that nickname came up at other times. On the bus he said,
"Wilderbeast, I love it." Kirt said YKW loved me. And once, I looked back and he was staring at me. Then he quickly looked away.
Oh yeah. The day went OK. Tues night when BOY called I subtly confronted him about his ex-girlfriend. Then the next day I gave him a note where I spilled everything about how he was never serious, blah blah. He wrote back saying he likes me and thinks we're great together.
The usual. GIRL thinks I'm mad at her cause she ruined our Little Prince skit. I really just hate her. At practice, we did "All the Livelong Day" again.
Kath says Sharon Manuel is going to tryout for some choir thing with "On My Own". If it's the Pop Concert, I'll scream!!
BOY said YKW was really distracted today. He didn't insult him, and he forgot his gym clothes and just sat silently on the side. I wonder...

In 7th period I saw Holly and Tony walking. I walked with them. I just asked him if he cut his hair, (he did) but said "No, I just slicked it back." I said, "Hey!" They laughed and I stalked off into the bathroom jokingly. Then Tony didn't show up to rehearsal. Someone probably told him I like him and he went home to throw up. One of these days, god will have pity on me and give me a boyfriend.

I talked to BOY at lunch. I told him I was sorry for ignoring him and he said sorry for losing his temper. He said he'd lost 6 lbs in the two days I ignored him. He thought it was over (again). I told him I didn't want it to be completely over. So now we're back where we started. But I still feel allowed to see other people. And I did.
At play practice I flirted with Norris and Ben and Paul. I agreed to be Paul's date for the movies that night. I told Norris I might go out to the McDonald's with him and Jim before the movie. But I cancelled it and went with Julie and Paul to the mall for food, then picked up Ben and went to the movie. Norris made me promise to save him a seat. But him and Jim were late and me, Paul, Teper, Don, Ben, Julie, Carlos, Mike and some other guy took up a whole row. So he was kinda mad. Paul and I held hands during the movie "Happy Gilmore" (with Adam Sandler); it was kinda weird. After that we (Ben, Julie, Paul and me) were gonna go down to Huntington Beach, but a cop started following us. I feel asleep on Paul's lap. So Ben just took us back to his house to pick up Julie's car and go home. There, I gave Paul a kiss on the cheek and sat in Julie's car. But Ben and Julie were hugging so Paul opened my door so we wouldn't have to watch. I hugged him cause he said he was cold - and what do you know? It was the Paul Sems experience all over again. Except this Paul is a better kisser. And I started it too! I don't even know if I like Paul like that. Who'd of thunk it?

Last night Holly Stone, Julie, Christy and I went to Scott's beer party. His parents were out of town everybody from Westlake was there. I hung out with Phil, Chris Rybicki and Chad Ritchie. Chad and me and Julie bonded and he says we're popular now. Scott was all over me to show his friends how cool I am and Chad was like "No! You're supposed to be a good girl!" Later - Chad asked me to go show him where the pop is and then lead me to a back hallway where we made out for about 10 minutes until we heard Katie calling for me. Then I drove him and Julie home. That was really weird.
But - at work Sat, Justin finally talked to me! I wrote him a note on Fri and said I'm sorry. Yea! I still like him. I hope we can at least become friends again.

At 8:15 we (Marion and I) went in to work for Mrs. Henderson. She had me go to the boiler room to get a bulb changed. Then we organized the closet. I saw an old Health project of YKW's. It was a clay heart. I said I would break his heart.
In the hall, Crystal said "I know who you like! YKW!"
In 1st period I got Tom's mind off of "Andy Post" by calling attention to the fact that Jessi Heim and Bryan Schleigh were always together. He didn't mention Andy.
In 2nd period, "You Must Fly" went to the band room to practice. Tiffany said I wasn't singing loud enough. Michelle Gaspar said YKW walked past her house Sunday. Her little siblings were yelling for him to come over. He ignored them. Briget said she didn't expect him to be that tall.
In 3rd period, Mrs. Petrokowski was very "lively". She dumped a box of styrofoam all over the floor.
At lunch, I saw YKW eating a sandwich (white bread) with his mouth closed. What a gentlemen!
In 4th period we had to go to study hall all period instead of art aiding. I had to sit by Chris Rybicki (whom Christina says likes me) because my old seat was taken by Joe Casola.
In 5th period while we did a lab about optical illusions (tube; hole in the hand), Mrs. Thompson read our points. I'm getting an A by 1 point! Pete shook my hand. We talked some more about time-share with the high school.
In 6th period, Mrs. Dean, my favorite 7th grade science teacher, interrupted our class to talk to me. In the hall she asked about Michelle Lappa (last year we kept her turtle Izzy as a class pet. Mrs. Dean needed the lent aquarium back. I said I didn't know where she was. Last year, I designed a background for it with Becky Spears and painted it.) Back in class, when YKW got to be Supreme court judge, he passed me a couple times. He ignored me and I him. Melissa Hill was absent so Michelle Magnone moved into her seat for special seating.
In 7th period Jason Henzen knew I liked YKW. He wrote it all over his folder. Sigh. Tom T knows too.
Dying is such a big word for a kid as young as Laurie.

Pretty bumming year. I hope next year will be better.
Today I practiced "Piano Lesson" by myself (no Katie). Suze and I kept bumping into Tony everywhere while we roamed the halls looking for her brother (our ride home). When I said hi, he stared at me and said, "Hi, Jessica." Then, when we saw him again I said "Stop following us!" He laughed. As we were heading out the door, he was there, I said bye. He was acting so strange. Maybe he knows.

Last night, BOY called. I hung up without even saying hello. He called back a few seconds later and my sister said "I'm sorry, she doesn't want to talk to you."
Today he ignored and avoided me and fawned over Jen Cook (why?). At play practice he stared at me all day while I flirted with Ben, Paul and Norris. Norris told me he liked me and Sabrina and he'd dump Jen in a second for me. I kinda do like him, but I still like BOY so much! And then there's Greg - AHHH!
Justin and I started fighting because he told Matt about the me and him and Julie thing and I told Paul and it's all messed up.

BOYFRIEND 2 scared me this weekend by saying he thought we spent too much time together and our relationship was too cutesy and high school. So I got sad and questioned everything he said. So finally he said he wanted to be my boyfriend and he loves me. He never really closed the subject. I still bring it up.
I competed at Forensics on Friday and Saturday with "Cat in the Hat" This time, the judges weren't so open-minded and I didn't place. When I got home, I got letters from Cedar Point (I'm an alternate, as always) and Trumpet in the Land (I'm chorus) and BOYFRIEND 2 in my bed. I've been skipping Antigone and Sweeney rehearsals every now and again (with excuses) because my parts are small and boring. Dad came up today and took BOYFRIEND 2 and I to lunch at Ranch. I bought a new camera at Wal-Mart. Last night, BOYFRIEND 2 and I watched Fear and Loathing at Heather's.
At 8:15 we (Marion and I) went in to work for Mrs. Henderson. She had me go to the boiler room to get a bulb changed. Then we organized the closet. I saw an old Health project of YKW's. It was a clay heart. I said I would break his heart.
In the hall, Crystal said "I know who you like! YKW!"
In 1st period I got Tom's mind off of "Andy Post" by calling attention to the fact that Jessi Heim and Bryan Schleigh were always together. He didn't mention Andy.
In 2nd period, "You Must Fly" went to the band room to practice. Tiffany said I wasn't singing loud enough. Michelle Gaspar said YKW walked past her house Sunday. Her little siblings were yelling for him to come over. He ignored them. Briget said she didn't expect him to be that tall.
In 3rd period, Mrs. Petrokowski was very "lively". She dumped a box of styrofoam all over the floor.
At lunch, I saw YKW eating a sandwich (white bread) with his mouth closed. What a gentlemen!
In 4th period we had to go to study hall all period instead of art aiding. I had to sit by Chris Rybicki (whom Christina says likes me) because my old seat was taken by Joe Casola.
In 5th period while we did a lab about optical illusions (tube; hole in the hand), Mrs. Thompson read our points. I'm getting an A by 1 point! Pete shook my hand. We talked some more about time-share with the high school.
In 6th period, Mrs. Dean, my favorite 7th grade science teacher, interrupted our class to talk to me. In the hall she asked about Michelle Lappa (last year we kept her turtle Izzy as a class pet. Mrs. Dean needed the lent aquarium back. I said I didn't know where she was. Last year, I designed a background for it with Becky Spears and painted it.) Back in class, when YKW got to be Supreme court judge, he passed me a couple times. He ignored me and I him. Melissa Hill was absent so Michelle Magnone moved into her seat for special seating.
In 7th period Jason Henzen knew I liked YKW. He wrote it all over his folder. Sigh. Tom T knows too.
Dying is such a big word for a kid as young as Laurie.

Today I practiced "Piano Lesson" by myself (no Katie). Suze and I kept bumping into Tony everywhere while we roamed the halls looking for her brother (our ride home). When I said hi, he stared at me and said, "Hi, Jessica." Then, when we saw him again I said "Stop following us!" He laughed. As we were heading out the door, he was there, I said bye. He was acting so strange. Maybe he knows.

Last night, BOY called. I hung up without even saying hello. He called back a few seconds later and my sister said "I'm sorry, she doesn't want to talk to you."

Norris told me he liked me and Sabrina and he'd dump Jen in a second for me. I kinda do like him, but I still like BOY so much! And then there's Greg - AHHH!

Today was Pom-Pom. We have an exhibition dance tomorrow from 8:00 to 12:00.
Marion called and asked if I wanted to go to a movie (4:45). Dad said no.

We did our routine and danced till midnight. I wore my singer's uniform. Everyone liked it. I started the bunny hop and everyone on the floor joined in! We requested YMCA and Aladdin to Irene + the Irishman but the only pop song they could play was Achy-Breaky Heart by Billy Ray Cyrus - yick!
I like Pom-Pom. Can't wait till the parade!

But today during 76 Trombones, I gave him my empty pop can. "What? You want me to hold this?" "No, set it down, please." He was so friendly and humorous. I hate him.
Matt said Tony likes my body (which is every guy's dream, but not with my personality). So what? He still flirts with Lauren.
Greg Paradis taught me to play "All Apologies" on Josh Jesty's guitar.

Last night, during the phone conversation with BOY, he started crying. I felt so bad. He said he needs me.
Today I was very quiet and withdrawn. I ended up writing a note to BOY saying maybe we should cool it for awhile.
After school he waited for me and we talked about it. I totally went back and said I didn't want him to leave, I do, I'm so confused! He's hurt, but he understands (I hope) that I need some time to think it all out.
At play practice we ran through a few scenes and Ben took me, Paul and Tony home. I told them about the Justin thing. They loved it.

Today I went over Michelle Gaspar's house. We roller skated in her basement, read about peoples' embarrassing moments in YM magazine, listened to Aladdin and played Oregon Trail on the computer. It's been about 3 months since YKW knew I liked him. About 4 or 5 months until summer. 8 months until high school.
I am reading 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. So far I love it. It was one of my favorite rides at Disney World.
in 6th period we had Ms. Daily as a sub. We were coughing and saying "Erv!" at the same time. (as in Ervin Reed) I can't wait until Ski Club.

Last night BOY called. We talked for an hour or so. I teased him saying he liked GIRL, and Amy and Megan O'Malley and Becky Angel, all of which he denied. He said I liked BOY, and Kirt and Jonathan Brandis.
Today we had the first cast meeting for Working. Despite GIRL being in it, it's an awesome musical!! Besides being John Rolfing, newsboy, I'm also the silent memory of the son in "Fathers + Sons" and in the women's chorus. I am so excited! I love my part! I have one long line and a long solo/song with backup "bushes".

On Friday, I went to OTA auditions in Columbus with Molly, Kelly, Sarah, Christina, Megan, Bethany, and Chris. We stayed at the Red Roof Inn and visited with Bryan Patrick Foley and Mark Rhodes. At the auditions, I got called back to SEVEN companies! Emily Cawrse was there and we were inseprable until we left around 9pm. I was so happy to see her! We both got called back to this company we both really want to do. (the Barn Theatre in Michigan)
Then I had Sweeney rehearsal at 6:30 today. Heather and I are playing twins in one scene.

Just got home from a fun night. BOY and his friend BOYFRIEND 4 came to see my show and then we hung out afterwards. BOY is totally obsessed with his ex-girlfriend. I'm really not sure what's going on, but it's big drama.
We all sat in the cabaret afterwards - BOYFRIEND 4 is hilarious and caught the eye of my castmate, Jill. BOYFRIEND immediately assumed the role of my big brother, although he seemed a little flirty too. I think that's his thing. We went to a bar called the Blind Pig where BOY had a weird, heated conversation with his ex-girlfriend and we all stood around awkwardly. BOY and BOYFRIEND 4 are so refreshing. They crack me up and they are pretty much the male versions of me. I really hope they sincerely like me too and we continue to hang out.
Wow. Laughter makes such a difference.

I had ACT tests from 8am to 11:30am. Borrrrinng!! I didn't get any of it. Then I went to Talent Show tryouts with Holly G. We just watched. Then we went to the mall. We played Ecco the Dolphin at Software, etc. It was the funnest game I've ever played! You can jump and porpoise and flip - EXACTLY like a real dolphin!! I really felt like I was a dolphin! I love it! Too bad it's for Sega. Holly says she wants it so I'll be able to play.
Tonight, Kelly might come over because of bowling. I can't go over to Michelle's or Holly's.
Jocelyn (the GREAT "natural dancer," she says) didn't try out like she told the whole school.

I went to see "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective" with Holly today. She seems more mature than in the summer. Maybe it's just me. All I can think about is BOY. He called me last night. We talked about the usual. I like him so much I'm going insane!!

Today Tony told Holly S. that I gave him a picture of her at Forensics. (which I did. He thinks she's good luck. Whenever he's with her, he sees Mary) Apparently Holly thought it was a picture of us sitting on the toilet together (which we used to do when we were 3 YEARS OLD!!). So Tony came up to me and said he wanted a picture of us in the bathroom. Paul said the same thing later. It was hilarious.
Today was a TAP Day so I got to sleep in. (Tues, Weds, Thurs are also TAP Days)
Amy told me that when I sang the national anthem on Friday, Riberdy and Matt gave me a standing ovation. But wait...isn't everyone supposed to stand?

When I tried to unlatch Greg's shoes he said:
"No, try this one," he laughed, when he couldn't get it off. "Maybe that one!"
On the slopes:
"Don't keep making ten turns, you have to get up some speed." (him)
"Thanks." (me)
On the bus, Brent and Melissa were running around the bus (Chinese fire drill).

Well, I got the Newsboy! BOY didn't get in. Tessa, Elicia and Emily Adams got small parts while me and Kim Hocevar got leads (she sings the Millworking song).
Forensics was awesome! I only had to perform twice. (So did everyone else) in 1 hour rounds, then 1 hour break while the other events performed. BOY was in a different group so I didn't really see him till the end. We had to wait for hours! We sat at a table (by ourselves) and drew pictures of Cookie. I brought my camera.
When BOY started getting wild, I got mad and ignored him, unless he was serious.

Tony scared the Puppy away for good by having a seizure and biting open a pop can. I took him out in the hall and pretended to give him his medication. Greg, a cute guy who I WISH would follow me around like a puppy, came over and talked with us. And we played Ouija. Susan, Gail and Nicole are all going to States. Me and Amy Church got shafted but we have another chance next week.

It was a Tap Day. I only saw BOY once or twice. I thought about Greg over a million times. I showed everyone his picture. I got mixed results. Most people agreed that he's hot. BOY wrote me a note saying how he figured out who I had a "fling" with. He didn't say who. I think he knows it's Justin.
Greg is occupying my every thought. Only 2 more tournaments! What if I mean nothing to him! What if I do mean something to him? I have to wait two more weeks till the next tournament. How will I survive?

Last night I saw my first celebrities - Vince Vaughn and Mila Kunis - at Dublin's on Sunset. Big Ed and I went to the free Tuesday comedy show to see Dane Cook, but he wasn't there that night.
I think I'll be moving to Burbank in a week or so. Amy Kletecka's friend needs a roomie and I need to get out of Costa Mesa. It's too far. So that postpones me getting a job as well - unless I go up around there to look. I HATE not having a job. I just sit around watching TV like a slob. And Best Buy had my laptop for a good week, doing stuff they said would only take an hour, and now they lost my battery. But I need to focus on the good.

In 1st period Reading we are just starting to grok. It's pretty easy. I think I have the highest words per minute in the class (880).
In Singer's we talked about how if the levy didn't pass this time we'd be condemned. We'd have to go to the high school from 12:00 to 6:00. That would be fun I think. A change of scenery and a chance to sleep in.
In 4th period gym we had our 3rd class on STDs. We had to do a report on an STD. My group's is AIDS. Mike Cutlip, Loni Garrity, Marie Jocke and Jim Braddish (and some 7th grader, I don't know his name, who likes to play with his retainer). I colored a picture of Baby Dinosaur for Marie and she liked it. I'll do one for Sarah next.
In 6th period SStudies we changed the laws. Our new bill is free seating on Wednesday. It was kind of a boring class. We voted for congressmen. I was disappointed that no one chose me but I didn't show it. I voted for Scott Chrise, Andy Demian and Jessica Heim and Adra Lee Smith.
If I die, I want this journal to be lent to anyone in my school who wants to read it. Hey, it'd be embarrassing, but I won't be around to blush! I doubt that'll ever happen. (I hope not.)

Bob and Anne came up this weekend and came to my show. It was nice to have someone I know there. I'm finally getting comfortable onstage and the directors are slowly but surely leaving me alone. Afterwards, we watched the Las Vegas duo perform.
In 1st period Reading we are just starting to grok. It's pretty easy. I think I have the highest words per minute in the class (880).
In Singer's we talked about how if the levy didn't pass this time we'd be condemned. We'd have to go to the high school from 12:00 to 6:00. That would be fun I think. A change of scenery and a chance to sleep in.
In 4th period gym we had our 3rd class on STDs. We had to do a report on an STD. My group's is AIDS. Mike Cutlip, Loni Garrity, Marie Jocke and Jim Braddish (and some 7th grader, I don't know his name, who likes to play with his retainer). I colored a picture of Baby Dinosaur for Marie and she liked it. I'll do one for Sarah next.

In 6th period (I already said) I sit all the way away from him. I think he got a haircut or something. His bangs were kind of fluffy. Tomorrow in SStudies, Mr. S gave us the opportunity to change classroom rules around. (the whole shebang: Senate, bills, veto, etc)
Tonight (7 to 9:30) I have Pom-Pom. I get to pass by his house.
I got a Dinosaurs coloring book on Saturday night when we went shopping. I am coloring a picture for Marie Jocke.
In 7th period English we talked about how blind we thought Mrs. Weigel was. I said she was looking right at Danielle and punished YKW when Danielle threw something.

In 7th period we (Jenni Mueller, Erin Hixon, Chris Sotz, Lisa Hoffman) discussed life and reincarnation, and every other unsolved mystery we could think of while the seniors gave us weird looks.

7th period we had a 45 minute long Pep Rally for the winter sports. Julie on trumpet and me on mellophone sat with, yet apart, from the band. Tony was supposed to lead the Rally but he skipped school. So Mr. Mercer did it. (And did it better!) Oh, I made the Forensics "cut" so I'm competing Saturday.
Julie and I hope to go out tonight with Justin. Norris wants to go out on Friday night. Katie wants to do something tonight. What do I really want to do? Go out alone with BOY. I want to sit and talk for hours. I miss him. The OLD him.

We had the Bowl-a-thon today. Marion, Christy, and Julie didn't show up so I had to bowl with another team. (Angela Serrani, Mariel Scott, Kelli Mueller, and Stacie Soja). I bowled a 207 in 3 games (sum of all 3 = 207). It was fun, but when everyone cheered for each other, no one cheered for me. Well, except one "Good job, Jessie" from Angela.

Holly Stone, Allison, Jenny, Amy and Emily all said I was terrific. I guess. I read a monologue for regular auditions, and then one like a kid for Newsboy. I guess I have a 80/20% chance of getting the Newsboy.

After school I sang some of my Brigadoon songs with Mr. Rizer, then went to the HI Run-off in Mr. Mercer's room. He can only take 3 HI-ers to the tournament this Saturday and there are 4 HI-ers. So Holly, Suze and I are competing for those spots. (Heather gets to go because she's a senior.)

So things are going OK. I don't like living in Costa Mesa, but I love Arthur. So I'm going to move. Obviously, not tomorrow, but by summer. I would love to move someplace with BOYFRIEND 4, but I'm dreaming. Hopefully, Big Ed will still want me as a roommate like he mentioned once.
I made it into the professional level classes at Groundlings! I think they're must be some catch if they let me in, but we'll see. I hope I can get a lot out of it, maybe even make it into the company one day. Everything good can come out of it.
Tonight I hung out with Tariq. He's very funny, but I'm afraid of leading him on in any way. I know it sounds dumb, but I hate when a guy wants more and it makes a friendship tense. Not that he's made any huge signs of liking me, but I can see it going that way.
We saw Judd Apatow screen 3 pilots that never made it, in a club in Hollywood. Next week, Bob Odenkirk is doing the same thing. I can't wait to meet him!
I miss BOYFRIEND 4 like nothing else. There are so many times I wish I could turn and comment to him about something stupid, but I'm always alone. Or worse, I'm with someone who wouldn't get it anyway. I miss my friend.

Ski Club was fun, but most of my time was spent fighting with YKW. When I got my Dark Blue, and he didn't, he kept saying "Well, you had Debbie. She GAVE you it. You're still wedging!"
While we were waiting for our lesson, they started kicking snow again. When Cindi got hit with snow she yelled "You Know Who!!" I already knew his middle name was Know, but I pretended I didn't.
"Your middle name is KNOW?!"
"Shut up! What's your middle name?!"
"You don't want to know."
"You mean you don't want HIM to know!" (Cindi)
"Yeah."
So whenever he called me wilderbeast, I called him Know and he stopped.
At the end, I said, "Come on, YKW. Don't want to miss the bus, do we?"
Outside, "Are you sure the bus is over there?"

We spent the entire day together, alone. We sat at a separate table than anyone else. We saw Cookie and laughed. And that's all. Just laughed.

Me and Julie told Sharon about how we kissed Justin. We're not supposed to tell anyone, but Sharon's Sharon. Me and Julie came up with the code name "Want to go bowling" for "Let's go out with Justin." At play rehearsal we played trust games. I was Ben's partner and during one where we run down the hall blindfolded, I accidentally slammed Ben into the wall. They were all a little peeved at me, but they came around after I apologized. I messed up Chris's hair as I walked by him one time. Then I asked him what Matt was saying (Matt's mad because me and Julie talked about Justin.) Julie and Sharon said that Chris had a blast at the dance on Saturday night. I know it's cause I wasn't there.
On the way home (Julie drove me and Justin) we joked about "going bowling." Maybe this weekend.

6th period Mr. S (who never moved us before) has changed our seats. It's the worst! I guess I took for granted that I sat so close to YKW. Now I can't even see him! I'm all the way across the room from him! Now the only time of the day I see him I can only hear him!
Ski Club tomorrow. He'll probably ignore me there. I'll do my ultimate best to just be quiet and introverted and hope he notices my good behavior.
We had Ms. Sine's (mustache lady) for a sub in math.
I never did find out if our door decorating contest won. I think Mr. Bower's did. It was an all-white door with one red dot in the middle and it said "Rudolph in a snowstorm." It was pretty creative.
I have Writer's Block tomorrow morning.
Christina's gonna be mad cause I didn't have enough time to call her tonight.

5th period Kirt (he's in a group with me and Schekel) kept putting his foot between my knees. When Bryan asked what he'd do with a million dollars, he said "I'd buy Jessica." And he flirts with me. I like Kirt a lot, but how long can I wait for BOY to make a move?
Last night at Michelle's, I wrote "Nina Loves Pochatkin" and "Jess loves BOY" on her books. Well, guess who she showed it to? BOY! She said he smiled and said "I can't believe she wrote that on your books!" The note he gave me after that seemed different. He seemed excited kind of. He also gave me (personally) a note that he didn't want Michelle to see. It had a funny picture of her.

Forensics was fun. The Puppy was there and so was Tony. We were talking and the Puppy came over.
"Oh, have you met my boyfriend Tony?" I said as Tony put his arm around my waist. It was hilarious. Puppy told Tony to be afraid of him and Tony said no! and Puppy said yes! So Tony picked him up and said NO! Puppy goes "uh-oh, football player!" and ran away.
I won 6th place. Suze won 3rd!

I worked with Scott all day. I mean - he was there. We talked about how deprived I am. He flirted mildly, but he does that to everyone. He said "Did I see you at Rocky River yesterday?" I said yes. When I went up to Warren to ask if I could leave, he pulled me back into the kitchen and said "No! You can't leave! We need you!" Then, right before I left I pulled his apron strings apart. He said, "See ya, Jessica." But it was different then how he usually talks to me. He was probably thinking about his girlfriend at the time.

Well, I'm going to Cedar Point...kinda. There are 2 girls who are undecided about taking their roles in the Lusty Lil's show. If either of them say no, I'll be in that show. BUT - regardless, from April to June, I'll be JT at Camp Snoopy. They wanted Krista for the whole season of JT, but she could only take the last half, so second choice me got to split to contract with her. I'm happy to do it because I'll be BOYFRIEND 3 and Krista, and I can stay on as an understudy and a Peanut character, ugh, until the very end of the season - which means lots of money. But I'm a little hurt that even if I get the Lil's part (I can still do JT first, then the Lil's show), I'm still only second best. BOYFRIEND 3's running sound for Centennial, which means we have different schedules. I hope things all work out for the best. I really hope I get the Lil's show.
Anyway, Red Lobster is good, my bills are paid, dance classes are fun, my weight's alright, I'm going to BG this weekend, but I can't wait for Cedar Point!

4th period I had art aiding (for the rest of the year).
6th period Social Studies.

We were getting worksheets on laws, and Scott gathered a whole bunch of extras and had them all spread on his desk. Mr. Schellentrager smiled when he saw him and said I was so patient. Scott held the papers like cards and said, "Nick, do you have a 3?" It was funny.
My new favorite musical is Disney's "Newsies". I like how they call papers "pape's".
I've been really drowsy with a stuffy nose, swollen glands, sore throat and tiredness. Mom got me a doctor's appointment. She says it may be tonsils or mono - a blood disease (communicable) that could keep me home from school for a month.
In English we are writing books for little kids. I want mine to be about a kid who gets lost in a toy store, stays overnight and plays with the toys. We, I think, are donating them to Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital (the same place Laurie died).
In gym we're learning about sexually transmitted diseases. We saw a video about Ryan White.

The audition clinic was fun. Mr. Mercer is psyched. So am I. Tryouts are next Mon. and Tues. BOY, Holly, Tessa and I all sat together in a corner of Mr. Mercer's room. We practiced singing, BOY's pretty good. Tessa complained that I was always a B**** around BOY. BOY said, "what's her problem?"
Ski Club. I sat on the bus with Kirt, skied with Kirt, and ate snacks with Kirt. I think he likes me. How can I use this to get BOY to do something? I know, it's evil, but Kirt knows I like BOY. I like Kirt, but I like BOY more. Lisa O'Hearn said she mentioned me in her autobiography for Group Guidance. Lindsay was friendly.
I had a dream about BOY and Lindsay. They were kissing. I was so sad. Was the dream really about me and Kirt?

Today was easier. Choir was a breeze and we just worked on pages in Publications. Tomorrow's Forensics. I'm getting bored of my piece. But this is the last one before Districts and stuff. Tony's going.

What a day!
I came in at regular time and took my choir and math exam. In the math exam, Ashby came over and confessed to lying about the whole "he killed a guy in Cleveland" rumor. Whatever.
Then Julie let me drive from the high school to drop off Sharon. Chris and Brandon were behind us for the first few miles. Then Julie and I went to the Kuzmickas' house. Then we drove in Ben's car to Tony's. So me, Julie, Paul, Tony and Ben sat around waiting for Rich Marko. Turns out Rich had to work so we drove down to the airport Rapids and rode the Rapid all the way to Tower City. There we saw "Don't Be A Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood", a black spoof. It was OK. Then we shopped for a long time. After that we rode the Rapid home and me and Julie went to her house. Then we went to Matt's, McDonald's, Parson's, Ben's and Parson's. At Ben's, Matt left with Drew cause me and Julie kept talking about Justin. At Justin's there was an injured possum in the road right in front of his driveway. So all of us stood around staring at it. (Ben, Tony, Rich, Matt, Matt Stravky, Justin, Sabrina, me, Julie, etc) So we called the police and they took it away. Then everyone went to Julie's. Me and Julie promised we'd make out with Justin. So after everyone left, we did. I don't even think I like Justin that way, but it was fun.

Last night (day) was very UN-lucky. I didn't even place in Forensics. Then - Justin didn't go to the dance, he went out with Jenny. Then - at Chuck E. Cheese's, when Scott and I were hugging in the storage room, Julie walked in and WOULDN'T leave!! She KNEW what was going on! And from then on, she flirted with Scott! A the end, it started to work. So Sharon and me dropped her off and cruised around. Today at work, Scott ignored us both and flirted with a new girl.

Yea! My first shows at Pickwick were ok. I still feel pressure to push my voice and be more amazing than is humanly possible, but the girls are fun and I seem to fit in ok.
I'm stuck at 110 lbs no matter what I eat. Is it safe to say my thyroid pills are responsible for that?
2nd period we have a substitute for choir (no Singer's either).
4th period I had art aiding (for the rest of the year).
6th period Social Studies.

We were getting worksheets on laws, and Scott gathered a whole bunch of extras and had them all spread on his desk. Mr. Schellentrager smiled when he saw him and said I was so patient. Scott held the papers like cards and said, "Nick, do you have a 3?" It was funny.
My new favorite musical is Disney's "Newsies". I like how they call papers "pape's".
I've been really drowsy with a stuffy nose, swollen glands, sore throat and tiredness. Mom got me a doctor's appointment. She says it may be tonsils or mono - a blood disease (communicable) that could keep me home from school for a month.
In English we are writing books for little kids. I want mine to be about a kid who gets lost in a toy store, stays overnight and plays with the toys. We, I think, are donating them to Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital (the same place Laurie died).
In gym we're learning about sexually transmitted diseases. We saw a video about Ryan White.

I saw BOY once. Boy, am I bored. In the lunch line, Ryan Thomas came up to me as usual and asked, "So?"

He pushed on, asking if anything had happened. He asked if BOY was going to ask me to the Valentine's dance. I don't know.
Tomorrow is the 'Working' audition clinic. I hope I make it into the musical. Everyone says no one is trying out because no one's heard of the play. But I want to be a part of it even so. I love acting and singing more than anything in the world. Also. This morning when I went to the library to return an overdo book, the librarian was none other than Madame "Shh!" from Toronto. I didn't realize this until Ryan Thomas came over.
"No, honey. We're not gonna charge you!" (Mme. Shh)
"No! Charge her! Charge her!" (Ryan)
"No!" (me)
"She's the talker! From Toronto! Remember? Charge her!" (Ryan)
M.Shh was shocked with recognition. "Run!" I said to Michelle and bolted out.

Ski Club was OK. Holly was there (Gindlesperger). They lost her papers, but she got to ski anyway. I moved up to Intermediate. We went down Buttermilk. It was SO fun. I skipped Dark Green, and got Light Blue. Next Dark Blue, then Black. While we were waiting for our instructor at ski rack A, YKW, Bryan Scleigh, and Tom Trescott were having a snow fight (kicking it up on their skis). YKW kicked some on me so I smacked him in the chin with a snowball. He didn't do anything back. I also got Ryan with a s.ball, he tried, but couldn't hit me.
I asked YKW if I could go with him on the lift. He said he didn't care. But we had to get our sticker first. Then they decided to go in singles because it was faster, so I went with Cheryl and Cindy. One time on the lift, I sat with this nine year old girl who was going on Tiger. 9 years old!!
On the bus home, when the bus hit a bump, the lights flickered. I yelled "Poltergeist!" and every time it flickered, Lindsay and everyone looked at me and yelled "Stop it!!" ? I wasn't doing it! Then they passed a car on the road with cute (I guess) guys in it and they got yelled at for talking to them out the window. OH! I forgot:
At 9:15 we got on the bus early. We were parked in a no parking zone so we had to move. YKW and Brent Konzel thought we were leaving without them so they ran after the bus. When we didn't stop they were like, oh man! They had to call their moms! Then we stopped across the street and they got on and everyone clapped. I went up to YKW and put my hand on his hat and pulled back so he was looking at me. "I bet the whole school'll want to hear about this!" "Shut up!"
On the way home I kept yelling "Kemock!...What?" Answering myself.
At school, 1st period art (our last class) YKW got in trouble again for fighting with Jessica Holland. Then, at the end we got to sit where we wanted. (I moved by Christine, YKW moved to Scott's/my table. They were throwing spitballs at the ceiling.
6th period, Social Studies. We spent the whole period talking about murder, suicide, and child abuse. I think we should have a discussion once a week.
On Monday I have 1st period Reading (Miss Frantz) with YKW.

Tom told me that BOY said stuff like "my relationship w/GIRL is nice; I've wanted one for so long, but Jess is so fun. She has 'magic fingers'. I've had so many dreams about the time we fooled around. She had so much energy! She's so funny. She's gonna have to wait till after GIRL. But sometimes the temptation is so overwhelming..." etc, etc.
Also - I got email from BOY that said 'maybe when I come home, we can see if you're still all talk' and 'I best get some when I get home!!' Holy wow!
Today: Mr. Gibeaut was singing 'Crash Into Me' today in exams (a song by Dave Matthews Band that I adore) and I flipped out. Then, after school, Katie gave me the D.Matthews CD to borrow, with the song on it! Then, I got online and BOY was on too. So we chatted a little and we're trying to get together online tonight.

LA was fantastically amazing! I loved it there so much! I got my hair chopped off there, and it looks great! We met with Jeff Witjas for two hours where we met Justin Louis (a guy who's reel we saw when Jeff came to BG). He just got onto a new show called "The Fighting Fitzgeralds". We strolled on Rodeo Dr., cruised up Mulholland Dr., ate at the Farmer's Market with Arthur, ate at the Hotel Mondrian in hopes of getting into Skybar. I was sad to go home. But they lost Kevin's luggage for three days, so we flew first class all the way!
At home, life is tense at Troupe. Annie and Ursi seem to be tiring of me. Molten is great. I work 10-1 and get paid for six hours. "A...My Name is Alice" is incredible. We've been open since Thursday and it's going great. I really stick out being the youngest and most athletic! As for the movie, we're still waiting. Roger schmoozed Kelly a callback, but when we went out with the director, Todd Fischer, Roger and Rob, they said there might not be callbacks. Todd says Luke Perry is in the movie and it's going to theaters, not festivals. They start shooting in March until May. Yeah, I'll believe it when I see proof. I also tried out, got called back to Cedar Point and did well. So we'll see!

Danielle threw something across the room and YKW got in trouble for it. Mrs. Weigel was without a voice so she couldn't yell. (She had Tim give the directions while Joe Casola sign-languaged to the class (as a joke)). I swore to Mrs. Weigel that he didn't throw anything, but she either didn't believe me or was too proud to apologize to YKW. I may go to Michelle's on Saturday. I hope we go on a bike ride past YKW's house.

We picked him up before GIRL. (Holly couldn't come) He gave me pictures of Dolly Dimples. When we got GIRL, he sat in the middle.
When we got to the Beck Center, we were so loud and obnoxious! The security guard was eyeing us. He once took out his handcuffs threateningly. When we auditioned, we found we were a BIT too old for the parts. BOY and I kept saying "Coo-Coo!" We didn't get asked to stay for callbacks. (Gee, I wonder why?!)
On the way home we drove through McDonald's and got milkshakes. We were playing Helen Keller in the back seat. BOY was flaying around and feeling my hands as I spelled words.

I made a Bill Clinton hand puppet and took it to school. Everyone laughed. We watched parts of the Inauguration at lunch and in Mrs. Petrokowski's 3rd period class. Bill Clinton was sworn in at 12:00.
In 1st period art, I threw the bouncy ball to YKW. While we were drawing still lifes. (I drew a lantern) YKW threw it to Scott who ignored it because Mrs. Weigel was looking right at him. He got detention, sat in the corner, and she took the ball away. He looked at me while in the corner and I mouthed "This is not my fault!" he smiled and said "Yes it is!" He had a pass to leave school at 11:45. He said to Scott, "No reason, I just want to leave." He was on the absent sheet, to. He left, I didn't see him in 6th period. He probably just wanted to hide something like a dermatologist appointment.

I'm in heaven! You won't believe it! But by the time, you can see that I'm home. Another snow day!! Hopefully I can get out of the house today. Tonight me, BOY, Holly G., and GIRL will hopefully tryout for "To Kill a Mockingbird."
I called BOY to tell him we'd pick up him up at 6:00. The tryouts are still on. As usual, we talked about Bobby's World (doncha know) and SNL's Blossom (whoa!).

Forensics was at Stow. Suze and Gail placed. BOY talked to Heather and Suze and Gail. I made myself scarce. But every time we went by him, Suze always said "He's staring at you - I mean us!"
At work, it was pretty dull until Tony, Paul and Ben came in. They were with some guy from the Golden Corral. I talked to them for a long time. Paul and Tony teased me saying (to their GC friend) "If you ever go to Cupachino's..." Ben forgave me so he's the only one who just let's it go. Paul keeps bringing it up. Tony's pretty normal. We all talked about the play and me being Chuck E. Cheese and them taking the GC guy to see Dusk Till Dawn after pizza. Then I got in the Jaspar costume and played a few games with them.

Well, I've hit a very dry well. At first Ski Club I got my black...and no attention from BOY. The few times I tried Scott...nothing. This weekend was frustrating. On Thurs, I watched Scott wrestle (and lose) at the OF/Westlake match. Then Fri (a snow day) me, Julie, Sharon and Kim were denied by the Homies and Scott. Sat (I won First Place at Forensics) was a boring Ba night. And Sun, Karissa Butts said Scott and everyone were going to the Boot Scoot'n Saloon, so me and Julie and Christy went - they weren't there. The Homies were though. It was dull. I realized today that Ben's "you won't get any" curse was working. Sharon said I should give it to someone and I gave it to Laura. So I'm cured.
I made a Bill Clinton hand puppet and took it to school. Everyone laughed. We watched parts of the Inauguration at lunch and in Mrs. Petrokowski's 3rd period class. Bill Clinton was sworn in at 12:00.
In 1st period art, I threw the bouncy ball to YKW. While we were drawing still lifes. (I drew a lantern) YKW threw it to Scott who ignored it because Mrs. Weigel was looking right at him. He got detention, sat in the corner, and she took the ball away. He looked at me while in the corner and I mouthed "This is not my fault!" he smiled and said "Yes it is!" He had a pass to leave school at 11:45. He said to Scott, "No reason, I just want to leave." He was on the absent sheet, to. He left, I didn't see him in 6th period. He probably just wanted to hide something like a dermatologist appointment.

On Sunday when Michelle and Torey came over - big failure. Torey and Kath made fun of Michelle's singing and Michelle told them to shut their faces. She was saying, "No, I have been INSULTED." Next time, I sleep over her house so I can ride my bike to YKW's house.
Then on Tuesday (today) they were filming the school and showing all the bad things that were wrong with it. It showed on Live on Five at 5:18. There weren't any kids I knew in it.
In 1st period art, me and Scott were throwing rulers at YKW. Jessica Holland slapped him in the face with her folder, for putting raffia in her hair.
In 6th period Social Studies, Mr. Schellentrager tricked us by pretending we had new laws in the classroom. 1. We had to bring in the front page of the Plain Dealer every day (I found out YKW only gets Sunday's edition). 2. We had to bring an American flag every day (small one). 3. We had to stand and say good afternoon Master Schellentrager.
He had us look through the student handbook to see if all this was legal. We had a big discussion. Then he said we didn't have to do it, he was just teaching us about constitutions. I had a feeling it was, from overhearing Scott and YKW saying, "It's gotta be a joke."
Christina gave me the note she wrote me on Thursday last week today. It has a picture of Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast. Michelle said she'd take notes about YKW on the bus (#61) today.
I saw YKW smile at me. Or it could of been, he was smiling and happened to look at me.
We raced Mouse trap-powered vehicles today. Mine went about 5 inches. Kristen Groffner's went 13 feet. We have a new kid. He name is Chris. Everyone likes him (the girls, I mean) but I think he's ugly. Kristen's mouse-trap : the kill bar propels the ball which drags the mini car through the air. She got money for being 1st place.

At callbacks yesterday, I was the only girl to read for Fiona, the lead. Today Mr. Rizer posted the list and I'm Fiona! Katie's Meg. Norris is Tommy. I have to kiss him. Drew almost was Tommy.
After school I went to the game with Julie and Katie (who says she expected to be Fiona). At the game, we hung around the band (Sharon, Cale, Greg Poltrone) and Andrea Cutlip (who plays my little sister in Brigadoon, Jean). Sharon got Maggie Anderson, a VERY big dancing part. Chris P is her father, Mr. Anderson. Julie and Elicia are in it too. After the game, me, Tony, Paul, Ben, Holly Stone, Julie and Katie went to see "From Dusk Till Dawn". It was a funny/gory/psycho/vampire movie. Julie let me drive from the high school to Jim's house before the movie.

OK, Busch Garden's offered me a job as "Molly Malone" - a walkaround in their Ireland-land. I would start in early March and go until October. Whoa! But as a walkaround? That would suck! So I called Cedar Point and asked if they had anything for me. Lisa said I was being considered for a part in the Lusty Lil's show, but also JT in Camp Snoopy. She made it sound like I could count on JT, but won't cast me officially in case the Lil's job opens up (I'm a second choice). So they're calling me later this week. It sounds pretty certain, but I'm not out of the water yet. BOYFRIEND 3 was guaranteed a job there, but hasn't heard from Lance yet. Can we please have some answers! I will just float through the last couple months in Muncie when I know for sure where I'll be this summer.
On another note, BOY keeps calling. I feel so awkward. He called today, begging me to drop everything and go to the Rugby banquet with him and Reed and Kelly. I felt a little uncomfortable because he's such a "not used to being turned down and won't take no for an answer" kind of guy. But he sounded really sincere when he said he missed me. Aww, poor BOY is growing up and realizing he's gonna need to start treating girls right if he ever wants a wife!
BOYFRIEND 3 and I celebrated his 23rd birthday and our 5 month anniversary this Thursday. We went to the Ball State/BGSU basketball game. Life is good.

A lot of things...
First, the Last Call Cleveland show was hilarious. It's a terrific group of guys and I would love to be associated with them. The show was packed and Cleveland loves these guys.
Then there's Pickwick and Frolic. I'm stuck in this show until September which I'm not terribly happy about. But the show seems well-received, new and destined for some local recognition which may lead me to good things. I sing "Mamma Mia" "The Bitch is Back" and "Bop Till You Drop" as solos. BUT - the directors never seem happy with me. I feel very crummy. But then they compliment me all the time. I'm frustrated and confused and I open on Thursday.
The Golden Globes were tonight. I would kill for Jennifer Aniston's career. She is truly talented, but all her success really comes down to the fact that she is the Most Popular girl in Hollywood.
Tonight, I was up in the attic. I opened my box of "Ex stuff" and started looking at our old pictures. And I feel fine. I miss him terribly. But I miss a memory. A past version of him. I don't want him now. I'm relieved to be free and can't wait to fall in love again. But I miss the companion I had. The friend that I came home to everyday. I will always love him in some form. But I never want to see him again. The real him will just ruin the happy memories I have.

This weekend started Fri. night after I auditioned for Sweeney Todd.

I went to Cedar Point with BOY and his parents. Me and him had so much fun! We visited some food president guy, and John Hildebrant and Janice Lifke. They gave us tons of stuff. Then we ate at Pizza Hut. I took pictures at the Raptor and the waiter at Pizza Hut. BOY and I left notes to the waiter on our table. Before CP, they dropped BOY and I off at Sandusky Mall. We pretended we lived there and said hi to all these strangers.

BOY showed us his room. It's covered with Cedar Point stuff. I can't believe this family of Point lovers existed and I didn't even know about it! They have signs all over that they stole from CP. I wish I lived there, it's heaven!

After school I went to Matt's for awhile. Then we went up to the high school at about 4:30. We met up with Mr. Rizer and helped him prepare for the "Brigadoon" auditions at 6:00. Then we ordered pizza. Soon, Drew came ad Womack and Katie and Sharon and Julie and everyone. BOY was so nervous. I would've liked to tell him good luck. I hung out with everybody in the halls (the auditions were closed this year). Justin let me wear his coat. I'm trying out tomorrow. When I got home, my dad said BOY had called. What does he want?! He confuses me so badly!!

Ski Club was AWESOME!! I can't wait till next week. First we had our lesson (beginning) with Greg. We got in a line and side-stepped a few feet up the hill. I stood next to YKW. We scooped snow on our skis and kicked it up into the air. YKW got in trouble for that.
"Now, I don't appreciate that here, OK?" said the lady to YKW.
"Sure." (YKW)
As soon as she turned her back, he kicked up more snow.
"I don't appreciate that, now!" I said.
"I know! Did you hear her? What a nerd!" He said to me!!
We each took turns sliding down the hill towards Greg (the instructor). He said to YKW "You're shaking like a drug addict! Calm down!"
After our lesson we got to ski alone. I stayed with Ryan and YKW. Ryan's butt never left the snow. It was great to see he wasn't good at everything.
"I don't think you wanna come this high." YKW said to me. I looked down.
"You're right. Bye."
After awhile, Mr. Schneider said Ryan, YKW and I could take the ski life to the top of the hill. I rode with Mr. Schneider and Ryan and YKW rode behind us. It was nerve-wracking but fun. Then we swerved down the hill. I went up 4 more times. I didn't see YKW until...
It was a couple minutes to 9:30. We had to be on the bus by then. I couldn't find anyone. But then I saw Ryan and YKW.
"Where's everyone? We gotta go!"
"I don't know, calm down, we got awhile." (YKW)
We watched Ryan slowly packing his bag. YKW grew impatient. "I'm not waiting. Come on!"
I followed him out the door. We walked to the bus stop.
"Wait, shh..." we listened to announcements.
"See, it's only 2nd call." We walked to the driveway. "The bus isn't here yet. Come on." He ran back dropping his gloves. I picked them up as he skidded to a stop. Shoving them in his hand I ran. He ran ahead.
"Thanks."
Back in, Ryan was STILL packing his bag.
"We're going to be left behind, I know it. I know it."
"Go wait by Mrs. Pruchniki!"
"WHERE, WHERE?!"
"Over there!"
"Oh, thank goodness!"
In school, though:
1st period we were hiding YKW's books. He didn't get mad. Mrs. Weigel took away my bouncy ball. Scott was in the hall. I peeked at him.
"Is Scott out there?" (YKW)
"No, he ran away." (me)
"Shut up!"
6th period YKW was passing out posters.
"Wilderbeast!" he handed me mind.
"The one and only!" I took it.
While we were waiting in the cafeteria for Ski Club, YKW kept looking at me. ? Every time I'd look at him, he'd be looking back. ??

I slept at GIRL's. Her parents are mean and fight a lot. We talked to BOY on the phone until 11:30. Mostly he talked to GIRL while I listened, pretending to be asleep.

It was hell at work today. They stuck me at Kid Check for "a second" which lasted 2 hours. I was supposed to be Chuck E. but since I was "busy" they had the new girl Nicole do it. The line to get in was out the door. Later I had fun working with Steve Schleigh cutting pizzas.
When I got home BOY called. We were talking fine and then he just said:
"This isn't working out."
"What isn't?"
"This friendship."
So basically he dumped me as a friend and hung up in a huff. ??
Ski Club was AWESOME!! I can't wait till next week. First we had our lesson (beginning) with Greg. We got in a line and side-stepped a few feet up the hill. I stood next to YKW. We scooped snow on our skis and kicked it up into the air. YKW got in trouble for that.
"Now, I don't appreciate that here, OK?" said the lady to YKW.
"Sure." (YKW)
As soon as she turned her back, he kicked up more snow.
"I don't appreciate that, now!" I said.
"I know! Did you hear her? What a nerd!" He said to me!!
We each took turns sliding down the hill towards Greg (the instructor). He said to YKW "You're shaking like a drug addict! Calm down!"
After our lesson we got to ski alone. I stayed with Ryan and YKW. Ryan's butt never left the snow. It was great to see he wasn't good at everything.
"I don't think you wanna come this high." YKW said to me. I looked down.
"You're right. Bye."
After awhile, Mr. Schneider said Ryan, YKW and I could take the ski life to the top of the hill. I rode with Mr. Schneider and Ryan and YKW rode behind us. It was nerve-wracking but fun. Then we swerved down the hill. I went up 4 more times. I didn't see YKW until...
It was a couple minutes to 9:30. We had to be on the bus by then. I couldn't find anyone. But then I saw Ryan and YKW.
"Where's everyone? We gotta go!"
"I don't know, calm down, we got awhile." (YKW)
We watched Ryan slowly packing his bag. YKW grew impatient. "I'm not waiting. Come on!"
I followed him out the door. We walked to the bus stop.
"Wait, shh..." we listened to announcements.
"See, it's only 2nd call." We walked to the driveway. "The bus isn't here yet. Come on." He ran back dropping his gloves. I picked them up as he skidded to a stop. Shoving them in his hand I ran. He ran ahead.
"Thanks."
Back in, Ryan was STILL packing his bag.
"We're going to be left behind, I know it. I know it."
"Go wait by Mrs. Pruchniki!"
"WHERE, WHERE?!"
"Over there!"
"Oh, thank goodness!"
In school, though:
1st period we were hiding YKW's books. He didn't get mad. Mrs. Weigel took away my bouncy ball. Scott was in the hall. I peeked at him.
"Is Scott out there?" (YKW)
"No, he ran away." (me)
"Shut up!"
6th period YKW was passing out posters.
"Wilderbeast!" he handed me mind.
"The one and only!" I took it.
While we were waiting in the cafeteria for Ski Club, YKW kept looking at me. ? Every time I'd look at him, he'd be looking back. ??

Today Scott was absent. In 1st period art, I brought a bouncy ball (I found in the attic) but we didn't use it. We're waiting for Friday (tomorrow). YKW got sent in the hall again for switching seats. I think Mrs. Weigel just wanted an excuse to punish him. Me and a few others switched but she didn't care. We were hiding YKW's books but he didn't really mind.
6th period Mr. Schellentrager didn't really care that we misbehaved. We wrote unreasonable constitutions.

I knew what he wanted to do, so I stared, stone-faced at the TV, sitting in an individual chair. He didn't try anything.

Today was GREAT! Here's why:
1st Period I had to sit by Scott. Boo! But...I had Christine's two bouncy balls. We had so much fun throwing it around the room and Mrs. Weigel didn't even notice! I kept going to sharpen my pencil at the front of the room, while Scott threw it to me. YKW was in the hall, so Scott went to the hall and threw it at him. Jessica Holland found it in the cafeteria. Then...WHAM! It hit the horse poster and Mrs. Weigel noticed the sound. Because no one confessed (it was Scott, though), we have no talking tomorrow. Oh, and when I told YKW to grab the ball from Jess Holland, he did it!
5th period science. No Butthead for me! I got to work with Christina!
6th period Mrs. Offut. The whistle woman. She blows it when we get "out of hand" and Mr. Reed comes. We were so BAD. When we watched a filmstrip about Ben Franklin, Scott and YKW made shadow puppets. When a picture of Ben came on, I made a finger shadow sticking up Ben's nose. [EDITOR'S NOTE: A drawn picture of the shadow finger bit was included in the margin] I probably gotten written up for that. YKW laughed SO HARD! He said "That was awesome!". Then he said:
"Can I get a drink?"
"No." Mrs. Offut
"That's child abuse!" (me)
"I'm not a child!" (YKW)
"OK, teen abuse." (me)
"Student/teacher abuse." (YKW)
Mike Smith threw a huge spitball on YKW's shoulder. So YKW stuffed a ton of paper in his mouth - but Mr. Reed came in. Oh, YKW moved into Erin Lanigan's seat in front of Melissa Hill who was in front of me. So when we looked back at Scott, he always saw me. Even if I fo get detention, I'll be with him. He threw a little spitball at the screen. You could hear it smack.
At lunch, there was a boy's underwear in the hall. Everyone was laughing.
I may have Michelle Gaspar over here instead of at her house.

Ski Club was fun. We got on the right bus. (the prep one, not the snob one) I sat with Christine and listened to her walkman.
I skiied with Kourtini the whole day pretty much except for the end. She went off to find Michelle Magnone. I went to Buttermilk. Lindsay, Lisa O'Hearn, and Katie were in the line. Lindsay called me over. Lisa and her actually argued over who'd get to ride with me! (no brag!) Lindsay won. We talked about old sleepovers and Ninja Turtles. At the top, I skiied down. At the bottom, I looked for Kourtini. They invited me up again. Lisa got to sit by me. All she could talk about was her 4th grade sleepover where her sister slapped me and we all got in a fight.
When I was sitting, later, waiting for the bus, Lindsay and crew came over. So did YKW. That's when I walked away.

It's taken ALL WEEK to get over this massive depression! Heinrich wasn't here Mon, Tues or Weds.
Erin Hixon likes Ribs and I think he likes her. He writes her notes and asks her to call him. I like Erin. We helped Tony with his computer on our usual walks around the hall 7th period. I like Tony, too.
Tonight I saw Drew, Sabrina and Dan at Falls Video.

Forensics was OK. I ignored BOY all day (except for the Power Round when I showed him my Mental Health Hospital pen) and laughed with Tom n' Eric. I think George Green likes me. And then there's Lowell Fitz. Suze told him my name last week (after he'd asked) and this week he said my name as every other word in his sentences. I got 3rd place in an out of district competition, which is great! Compared to Wesley (the Cat in the Hat) and Lowell, BOY is a first-class SNOB! I even had a round with the Puppy and we were talking about what a jerk he was. Matt O'Brien was there too (the "Guy Who Looks Like Tony"). He saw me from across the room and was staring at me while talking to his girlfriend. Oh wow!
Then I came home and went to work. It was packed. Holly was stressed out. Matt (the other Chuck E.) was there and we did the shows together, with me as Helen Henny. It's more fun that way. Other than that it was kinda dull for me. I cleaned the Chuck E. room from top to bottom. And me and Molly did the dance a million times (the "We're Having a Party!" dance) because she was leaving to go back to college tomorrow. I have to work 11-5 tomorrow. Scott's working 12-8.

I wore my tiny tee and vest and my hair down. It's a new record for hair-wearing-down! I didn't talk to BOY a lot, but he threw a semi-hissy fit when Julie said I wasn't going to Pep Band. Julie was wrong and he overreacted. So I went to Pep Band, saw the Hecker's baby (with hair!) hung out with the drummers, hung out with Sharon and Megan McManus (Megan says Ashby's saying we're going out and that he loves me. AHHHH!) and told Drew that we'd do the band thing for the Pop Concert. BOY never came. And afterwards - Elicia went out with other people, Matt did too, BOY wasn't home, and Julie said she was sick. So we moped around Sharon's house until 11:00 or so.

Scott Chrise! Again. Boo! There's one highlight. Right next to me is YKW. When I got moved, he didn't say anything particularly mean. Nothing at all. When class REALLY began I moved back to my old seat. YKW moved to mine.
This weekend I hope to go to Michelle's. Maybe after Pom-Pom.
I found another one of YKW's papers. It was stuffed in a cabinet and was just old notes he'd never use. I'm pretty sure of that. Michelle is fun to talk about YKW with.

I slept over her apartment, took a shower and she worked 11-6 while I unpacked my stuff and waited until BOYFRIEND 2 knocked on my door at 1am. Ryanne came back this morning after BOYFRIEND 2 was gone and I was done with my shower. I think she mentioned she's staying at home tonight, too.

BOY called last night and I just let the barriers down. I told him that I still liked him but I just wanted to be friends for now. I said he should be happy. After awhile, he cheered up. I also confronted him about the whole "you only came back because Sharon doesn't like you" thing and (of course) he denied it. I just let it go.
Today I wore my hair down all day and what a difference. I was noticed.
BOY wasn't there in the morning. 1st period Julie was sick, but refused to go home. 3rd period I think Justin's too popular to ever like me. 5th period Kirt talked to me a lot more today. I think it was the hair. 6th period we started watching "Glory" a movie based on the Civil War. It has Cary Elwes (Robin Hood, Men in Tights) in it. BOY gave me a note after 5th period. It said he was having a bad day, but he's trying to lighten up. 7th period, Ashby got suspended!! He punched Tom Burke during gym because he let his temper get away with him.
Tom + Eric, me, Heather, Holly, Suze and Jeff stayed after for Forensics coaching. Mike Ditzel coached us and he drove me home.
Tonight we're going to the library.

After 6th period, I walked with BOY. Then, after school me and Julie went to McDonald's. then to her house to type. BOY kissed her this weekend and now she likes him. She called him while I was typing and gave the phone to me when her mom called her. BOY told me about a picture he had of his naked butt and how he wants it in the yearbook. I laughed. I heard Julie when she got back on the phone say "No...uh Jess? Are you still going out with BOY?" He apparently thought I was.
Then, at 7:00 I went to Chuck E. Cheese's to learn the new Live Show dance. I was partners with Holly and it was fun.
TODAY -
BOY was there again in the morning. I kinda ignored him and he brightened when Sharon came in.
Justin and I have been being nice to each other a lot lately. When I asked Julie who I should ask to an upcoming dance, she said "Justin. I think he'd go for ya."
At lunch I sat by Cale for awhile. Greg says that BOY went out and bought ANOTHER Pamela Anderson poster to RIVAL the one I bought him for Xmas. What the heck? He feels he has to buy a better Xmas present for himself than I did?
After 6th period he walked with me and gave me a note that said, "Have you lost interest in being my friend?" I wrote back saying, "I know you only came back because Sharon rejected you." He's supposed to call me tonight. After school Ashby came up to me at Matt's locker. I kinda brushed him off too.

Justin keeps acting stranger and stranger everyday. Today, for example, he said he'd had a dream about me and Julie and our "Fearsome Threesome." And he talked about how cool Michigan will be, and that we could get a room together. But he's still in love with his little girlfriend. All in all, I enjoy the attention he gives me.
Last night I worked at Lone Star for the first time. As a hostess, I bus tables and seat people. I saw Maggie and Laura Reese, Liz and Carrie and I heard Geisala Franz works there. As for guys...Chuck E. Cheese takes the cake there. The atmosphere at Lone Star isn't quite as fun and casual. Maybe it'll become that way for me someday. But no one can compare to Scott Olinek!

At lunch I sat by Cale for awhile. Greg says that BOY went out and bought ANOTHER Pamela Anderson poster to RIVAL the one I bought him for Xmas. What the heck? He feels he has to buy a better Xmas present for himself than I did?
After 6th period he walked with me and gave me a note that said, "Have you lost interest in being my friend?" I wrote back saying, "I know you only came back because Sharon rejected you." He's supposed to call me tonight. After school Ashby came up to me at Matt's locker. I kinda brushed him off too.

Justin keeps acting stranger and stranger everyday. Today, for example, he said he'd had a dream about me and Julie and our "Fearsome Threesome." And he talked about how cool Michigan will be, and that we could get a room together. But he's still in love with his little girlfriend. All in all, I enjoy the attention he gives me.
Last night I worked at Lone Star for the first time. As a hostess, I bus tables and seat people. I saw Maggie and Laura Reese, Liz and Carrie and I heard Geisala Franz works there. As for guys...Chuck E. Cheese takes the cake there. The atmosphere at Lone Star isn't quite as fun and casual. Maybe it'll become that way for me someday. But no one can compare to Scott Olinek!

I called BOY, he wasn't home. Later, he called me. We talked normal. I didn't bring up the note.
When he and GIRL came over, we ate ice cream and pop. We watched "Clue" (BOY brought it) and my Cedar Point video. I didn't pay much attention to GIRL. BOY said we can come over next weekend, but I know GIRL won't want to. Me and BOY laughed about everything. He said he doesn't LIKE like Michelle and wished she'd leave him alone.
Let's see. Walter, Ben, Paul, Shannon, Holly, Jason Skinner, and many others have all said "BOY likes you. BOY wants to go out with you." He says he doesn't know how he feels. I'm getting impatient. Everytime I look into those eyes, it gets harder!
Pom-Pom was hard. It was boring and I couldn't wait to get home and get BOY over. All we did was march. I've fallen into this little group again.

I like you. I don't know how you feel about me, but I guess it doesn't matter since you'll probably never speak to me again." or something. He wrote back saying he's not mad and he doesn't know how he feels. Him and GIRL are coming over tomorrow. Mrs. Hecker played the accompanyments WAY too slow! I'll get Mrs. Crandall to.

He didn't tell us!! All day I was wondering why. He sent Mrs. Mercer down to tell me to keep my mind on Forensics. (Katie wasn't there) Well I got 3rd place and a trophy! I called Katie and we talked about everything. We talked about how the one who doesn't make it will probably be the understudy for the other. So we promised that who ever made it would miss one day so the other can kiss Jason.

Oh yeah - Matt says BOY likes Sharon and because she doesn't like him he's crawling back to me. I knew that. He's liked her since September. I was just convieniently there. I've decided to just be friends with him. Also - BOY called just as I was leaving. He asked what happened. I said "I'm leaving - so I'll make this quick. I still like you, but I hate boys and I'm not ready to jump into another relationship. BOY really screwed me up. So don't worry, you're not forgotten - I'll call you."
Today I worked 1-6. I saw Scott. Warren sent me to relieve him at merchandise. He brightened when he saw me. And he playfully yelled at me. Then I got put into Kid Check, so I only saw him a few other times. The times I glanced at him - he seemed happy to see me. I don't know. He's cute.

Yesterday, Heather, my dad and I went to Cedar Point auditions. I gave it my all while singing "Take Back Your Mink" and "Hopelessly Devoted to You" (they asked for my second song which they hadn't been doing because of the time pressure) and gt called back to dance. Heather didn't get called back so she signed up to be a Berenstein Bear and basically got hired. The dancing was...whoa! REAL dancing. It was fun, but I could hardly follow. When we tried out in 3's, the two on either side of me lost it towards the end and since I kept going, I looked good. I'm not saying this looks promising. But I picked up a regular park application for the summer. If Heather's definitely working there and BOYFRIEND 2 was thinking about it, it could be cool.

Today in art we had Gummou again (the whole week). Then in 2nd period we worked on our MPV's. I had to go in for Mrs. Petrykowski to check my homework (that I missed cause of the cruise) and she let me do a few problems with Jenny Warchola (who was in for help). Look:
11+14=25, 14+10=24, 24+24=48, 25+25=50, 50+48=98ft.
The perimeter of the garden and the pathway is 98ft! TA-DA!
In 4th period gym, the boys on our volleyball team yelled and jumped in front of us. I touched the ball a couple times, too because Cory (the one man game) Chapman wasn't there.
5th period science we "played" with genecons and circuits. I had to take two quizzes for Mrs. Thompson in morning homeroom.
In 6th period Social Studies, YKW wasn't there. He was in 1st period art though. I didn't see him in first lunch either. We did our "what if we lost" Revolutionary War presentations. I made a poster for our group (Dione Wolfe, Kristen Groffner, Cheryl Boscerello) which brings me to last night. (We got our cruise pictures, went to a book store and went home).
7th period English we did our pre-test in spelling. I got to read the words to the class and I made up new sentences. For pryed, I said "The squirrel pryed open the acorn, but then Jack shot him." Everyone laughed because Jack Holmes hunts animals like squirrels and cats. We did a prompt writing exercise. The topic was, I just ran out of _______? I put air and wrote about someone who died scuba diving.
There's my day. 5 more months until summer vacation.

Last night - Elicia called just as my family ad I were going to Golden Corral (Tony, Paul and Ben's new workplace). She invited me to go to the wrestling match. I did. We met Julie there and all sat together. Then, we went to Parson's. Matt and Justin were all watching Dumb and Dumber. We borrowed Matt and Justin and went to Middleburg McDonald's then to Berea McDonald's (where we actually went in and ate). Then we all went back to Justin's and all laid on his bed and talked. Then we moved downstairs to watch Die Hard w/a Vengence. (Oh yeah, Sharon had since come over.) We were all having fun until...
Marc and BOY showed up. BOY sat by Sharon but slowly moved by me. Then, everyone but me and BOY went home. I felt nothing. I kept saying to myself - 'I don't want to date other people' and I do!
Today at Forensics, me and Suze went over by Greg (he was alone) and we talked about crossword puzzles. I saw his eyes keep flickering to me when Suze was talking. I kinda felt like he was mildly interested. Then I sat by him in my next round. We didn't talk. After that we went back over. We talked a little (he works at Rini-Rego's and is the fastest checker, he wants to be called 'Fast Greg' and he loves Nirvana). Then he and some guy left to find the capital of Fiji (a question in one of his puzzles) and he never came back. Me and Suze took this as a hint and left. We saw them at a table with a crowd of girls. Then during the Power Round (I didn't make it, but everyone could go watch) the only seat left was next to him. But he was engrossed in conversation with two pretty girls. After all that, as we were pulling out of Crestwood on our bus, I saw him and waved. He just smiled and nodded like a snob. Well, then!! I guess I'm not good enough for him!
Then tonight, me, Matt, Elicia, and Sharon cruised around. Elicia likes BOY (a little) and she said he said he'd meet us at Wedel's later. (with Drew, I think) Elicia said Drew was having trouble with Lauren, but I was only mildly interested. We went to McDonald's then to Wedel's. Justin came over and we all sat (well, I layed) on Matt's bed. I fell asleep.

I remember I asked Laurie Patrick to ask Luke Swan out for me. I remember waiting for her after school. I remember meeting her for the first time in PSR.

While I was waiting for the bus, BOY didn't come over to talk. But 4th period he personally handed me his note.
Ski Club was OK. I stayed with Kourtini and got my dark blue. Y.K.W. kept his distance. He got these awesome new skis. Greg was guarding them when Y.K.W. went to get a snack, I went over.
"Are those his skis?"
"Yep!"
"They're awesome, he doesn't deserve them," I mocked spit at them.
At 9:00 we (Michelle Magnone, Christine Miller, Kourtini and I) boarded the bus. A few minutes later YKW and Greg came on. I was taking pictures left and right. I got YKW's as he was walking passed my seat.
"What was that for?"
"America's Funniest Home Videos."
Upheals of laughter from the girls, but YKW just scoffed and moved on. He sat/stood in his seat with his back against the window, just staring into oblivion. Greg was behind him. I looked over.
"Jessica likes YKW!" Greg teased.
In unison, YKW and I gave him disgusted, annoyed stares that read "what?!"
On the way home I sat with Christine. We're becoming kind of friends. She's a pretty good skier for a beginner. Lindsay Phillips sat in the seat before YKW's. Katie Krakowiak sat with her. They talked to YKW and Greg all the way home. I was so jealous.
I think I still like YKW.

BOY came in to Mrs. Bock's room before school while I was getting extra help to ask what work he missed. He smiled at me. After that he only smiled at me after band and kicked my foot while I was at my locker after 6th period. When I turned (a few seconds too late) to see who it was, he was turning around and missed me seeing him. He probably thinks I ignored him.
BOY flirted with me a little. That's cool. I guess. And BOY flirted with me a little in Golden Expressions. He kicked me, unzipped my bag and gave me pretty much his whole pop. I shoved him (gently) and he fell back on the risers. (I knew he would. That's the cool thing about risers. He wasn't hurt, though.)
I saw Drew a few times. He seemed kinda depressed. I know the feeling. I feel that I don't belong anywhere. The Homeys want Julie and Sharon, not me. I doubt the Homestead Drive gang wants me back. I don't fit in anywhere. Drew said (on the phone yesterday) that Dan Burke's coming over tonight. Maybe they'll call me. Other than that, I'm alone at home for the night.

Not much new. I'm starting to make good money at Red Lobster. I still haven't gotten paid for my commercial, but my agent has kept in touch. Xmas with fam was fun. We had Xmas Eve + Xmas at our house. BOYFRIEND 3 and I are great. His birthday and our 5-month anniversary are coming up. He's been on break for three weeks, so we've both been just working, playing Nintendo and sleeping! No word from Cedar Point for either of us. I'm worried. No matter how I rationalize it, I'll be disappointed if I don't make it. I'm planning on working there too much.

Yea!! I got cast in a Cedar Point-style cabaret show at an amazing club in downtown Cleveland called Pickwick and Frolic. Finally, I get to sing cool songs into a handheld mic, like Christina! I quit Red Lobster because Pickwick PAYS! I am officially a professional singer! And the two gay directors really like me (for some odd reason)!
Also, I've been emailing with a guy from a local TV show called "Last Call Cleveland" and he saw my webpage and said they'd be interested in working w/me. So I'm going to their show at Second City on the 13th. Too bad boys suck or I might be interested in him.

Money's really tight now. I seem to go in spurts of steady income, then no income. I'm frustrated because Lillie's buying a theatre, and has asked Sarah to manage and B.Unit to bartend. She hasn't asked me to do anything and that hurts doubly when I'm so poor. I really hope I can be involved. I need steady income so badly!
My agents haven't called in a long time, despite the Christmas break.
BOYFRIEND 4 is the same. I officially ended it over Christmas, but then kissed him a few days later. So not much has changed. Except that he's very aware of my crush on BOY and my intentions of pursuing it. I still secretly love BOYFRIEND 4, and always will, but I'm not waiting around. It's his move. Besides, nothing can even happen for years, so I want to see if maybe I could like someone else.

On the way home I sat with Christine. We're becoming kind of friends. She's a pretty good skier for a beginner. Lindsay Phillips sat in the seat before YKW's. Katie Krakowiak sat with her. They talked to YKW and Greg all the way home. I was so jealous.
I think I still like YKW.
JANUARY 5th, 1996
BOY came in to Mrs. Bock's room before school while I was getting extra help to ask what work he missed. He smiled at me. After that he only smiled at me after band and kicked my foot while I was at my locker after 6th period. When I turned (a few seconds too late) to see who it was, he was turning around and missed me seeing him. He probably thinks I ignored him.
BOY flirted with me a little. That's cool. I guess. And BOY flirted with me a little in Golden Expressions. He kicked me, unzipped my bag and gave me pretty much his whole pop. I shoved him (gently) and he fell back on the risers. (I knew he would. That's the cool thing about risers. He wasn't hurt, though.)
I saw Drew a few times. He seemed kinda depressed. I know the feeling. I feel that I don't belong anywhere. The Homeys want Julie and Sharon, not me. I doubt the Homestead Drive gang wants me back. I don't fit in anywhere. Drew said (on the phone yesterday) that Dan Burke's coming over tonight. Maybe they'll call me. Other than that, I'm alone at home for the night.
JANUARY 5th, 2002
Not much new. I'm starting to make good money at Red Lobster. I still haven't gotten paid for my commercial, but my agent has kept in touch. Xmas with fam was fun. We had Xmas Eve + Xmas at our house. BOYFRIEND 3 and I are great. His birthday and our 5-month anniversary are coming up. He's been on break for three weeks, so we've both been just working, playing Nintendo and sleeping! No word from Cedar Point for either of us. I'm worried. No matter how I rationalize it, I'll be disappointed if I don't make it. I'm planning on working there too much.

Yea!! I got cast in a Cedar Point-style cabaret show at an amazing club in downtown Cleveland called Pickwick and Frolic. Finally, I get to sing cool songs into a handheld mic, like Christina! I quit Red Lobster because Pickwick PAYS! I am officially a professional singer! And the two gay directors really like me (for some odd reason)!
Also, I've been emailing with a guy from a local TV show called "Last Call Cleveland" and he saw my webpage and said they'd be interested in working w/me. So I'm going to their show at Second City on the 13th. Too bad boys suck or I might be interested in him.

Money's really tight now. I seem to go in spurts of steady income, then no income. I'm frustrated because Lillie's buying a theatre, and has asked Sarah to manage and B.Unit to bartend. She hasn't asked me to do anything and that hurts doubly when I'm so poor. I really hope I can be involved. I need steady income so badly!
My agents haven't called in a long time, despite the Christmas break.
BOYFRIEND 4 is the same. I officially ended it over Christmas, but then kissed him a few days later. So not much has changed. Except that he's very aware of my crush on BOY and my intentions of pursuing it. I still secretly love BOYFRIEND 4, and always will, but I'm not waiting around. It's his move. Besides, nothing can even happen for years, so I want to see if maybe I could like someone else.
