JANUARY 9th, 1994

GIRL said she talked to BOY at PSR. He said Brent Konzel asked him if he was going out with GIRL. When GIRL asked him if he liked me he said:

"I don't think this is the time or the place to talk about that."
"These are my friends, besides, they don't know her."
"Well, I really don't know how I feel, I told her that."

I'm so confused. I thought he liked me. I guess he doesn't.

JANUARY 9th, 1996

Yesterday -

After 6th period, I walked with BOY. Then, after school me and Julie went to McDonald's. then to her house to type. BOY kissed her this weekend and now she likes him. She called him while I was typing and gave the phone to me when her mom called her. BOY told me about a picture he had of his naked butt and how he wants it in the yearbook. I laughed. I heard Julie when she got back on the phone say "No...uh Jess? Are you still going out with BOY?" He apparently thought I was.

Then, at 7:00 I went to Chuck E. Cheese's to learn the new Live Show dance. I was partners with Holly and it was fun.

TODAY -

BOY was there again in the morning. I kinda ignored him and he brightened when Sharon came in.

Justin and I have been being nice to each other a lot lately. When I asked Julie who I should ask to an upcoming dance, she said "Justin. I think he'd go for ya."

At lunch I sat by Cale for awhile. Greg says that BOY went out and bought ANOTHER Pamela Anderson poster to RIVAL the one I bought him for Xmas. What the heck? He feels he has to buy a better Xmas present for himself than I did?

After 6th period he walked with me and gave me a note that said, "Have you lost interest in being my friend?" I wrote back saying, "I know you only came back because Sharon rejected you." He's supposed to call me tonight. After school Ashby came up to me at Matt's locker. I kinda brushed him off too.

JANUARY 9th, 1997

Justin keeps acting stranger and stranger everyday. Today, for example, he said he'd had a dream about me and Julie and our "Fearsome Threesome." And he talked about how cool Michigan will be, and that we could get a room together. But he's still in love with his little girlfriend. All in all, I enjoy the attention he gives me.

Last night I worked at Lone Star for the first time. As a hostess, I bus tables and seat people. I saw Maggie and Laura Reese, Liz and Carrie and I heard Geisala Franz works there. As for guys...Chuck E. Cheese takes the cake there. The atmosphere at Lone Star isn't quite as fun and casual. Maybe it'll become that way for me someday. But no one can compare to Scott Olinek!
