JANUARY 31st, 1993

We had the Bowl-a-thon today. Marion, Christy, and Julie didn't show up so I had to bowl with another team. (Angela Serrani, Mariel Scott, Kelli Mueller, and Stacie Soja). I bowled a 207 in 3 games (sum of all 3 = 207). It was fun, but when everyone cheered for each other, no one cheered for me. Well, except one "Good job, Jessie" from Angela.

We tried out for 'Working.' BOY did...umm...OK. GIRL was thrilled with herself and I did average. I tried out for the Newsboy, too.

Holly Stone, Allison, Jenny, Amy and Emily all said I was terrific. I guess. I read a monologue for regular auditions, and then one like a kid for Newsboy. I guess I have a 80/20% chance of getting the Newsboy.

JANUARY 31st, 1996

We got new seats in Chemistry. I moved, but I STILL sit next to Kurt! Or is it Kirt? I think it's Kirt.

After school I sang some of my Brigadoon songs with Mr. Rizer, then went to the HI Run-off in Mr. Mercer's room. He can only take 3 HI-ers to the tournament this Saturday and there are 4 HI-ers. So Holly, Suze and I are competing for those spots. (Heather gets to go because she's a senior.)

JANUARY 31st, 2004

So things are going OK. I don't like living in Costa Mesa, but I love Arthur. So I'm going to move. Obviously, not tomorrow, but by summer. I would love to move someplace with BOYFRIEND 4, but I'm dreaming. Hopefully, Big Ed will still want me as a roommate like he mentioned once.

I made it into the professional level classes at Groundlings! I think they're must be some catch if they let me in, but we'll see. I hope I can get a lot out of it, maybe even make it into the company one day. Everything good can come out of it.

Tonight I hung out with Tariq. He's very funny, but I'm afraid of leading him on in any way. I know it sounds dumb, but I hate when a guy wants more and it makes a friendship tense. Not that he's made any huge signs of liking me, but I can see it going that way.

We saw Judd Apatow screen 3 pilots that never made it, in a club in Hollywood. Next week, Bob Odenkirk is doing the same thing. I can't wait to meet him!

I miss BOYFRIEND 4 like nothing else. There are so many times I wish I could turn and comment to him about something stupid, but I'm always alone. Or worse, I'm with someone who wouldn't get it anyway. I miss my friend.
