JANUARY 1st, 1993

New Year's Day. Kelly, Cheryl, and Rick came over. We played Where in the world is Carmen Sandiago? and Super Mario World on GameBoy. I saw an ad on TV for a video game I REALLY want. Problem is it's for Sega. It's a dolphin game, to! The first in history had to be a Sega! It's called Ecco the Dolphin. Maybe Holly G.'ll by it. Then we went to Kathy Anns (mom's cousin) there were so many kids and so much smoke! I watched Beauty and the Beast downstairs (honestly, what do people see in that movie? It's boring! I like Aladdin) and upstairs I watched one of my favorites, Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead.

JANUARY 1st, 1994

Last night I talked w/GIRL till past midnight. When I got on, it was 1993, when I got off, it was 94.

We went to Cousin Kelly's. We played "Dream Phone" "Slumber Party" "Mall Madness" "Saved by the Bell" and "Ask Zandar".

GIRL is going to sleepover tonight. We have to talk to BOY. About the talent show. It's going to be hard, but I have to think of myself, to.

When we were over GIRL's, I was always trying to get BOY to hold little Kara. At first, he said no, she'll pee, and just joked. But later, when he saw how much I liked the baby, he started playing with her and talking baby talk. Before Kara's naptime, she gave us all little kisses. When she kissed BOY's cheek it was so cute. He was kinda embarassed.

When we watched my scene in The Good Doctor, GIRL sobbed over BOY while BOY threw cookies at me. So I jumped on his lap and stuffed one down his shirt. I hit his head accidentally. So when he complained of pain I knew wasn't there, I patted him and said, "Aww!"

I know he likes me, the next step is to get him to either A) ask me out B) kiss me C) both. Preferably C). Maybe I SHOULD make the first move like GIRL says. Like when he tells me how I don't like to be touched, I can just go and kiss him to prove him wrong. Sigh.

If BOY and I ever get our "relationship" off the ground, how long will it last? Ben said he went out with Lisa Sanford last year and they didn't do anything.

GIRL came over and we called BOY. He was disappointed about "In My Life" because we'd practiced a lot for it. It feels so much better.

GIRL was mad at BOY for throwing stuff out the window. We pretended I was out of the room and GIRL talked to BOY.

"So what do you want to know about Jessica?"
"What do you mean?"
"Her favorite color, that stuff."
"Why would I want to know anything?"
"Well if you like her - you do like her, don't you?"
"I don't think that's any of your business."
"OK."

What does it mean?! BOY asked if GIRL got me a Les Miz book yet. I decide if I hint enough, he'll get it for me. He also kept playing "And I can live inside my...head" over and over again on his CD. It's his favorite part from "On My Own." The music I got doesn't include it.

She did remember (Holly) but I'd already made plans so we planned it for today.

On Friday I saw Corey's play at Greenbriar "Meet Me in St. Louis". I heard about tryouts there for The Secret Garden.

By the way, Matt and Aunt Kathleen are gone and school is tomorrow. :(
