JANUARY 4th, 1993
Today, school resumed. I gave Mrs. Thompson and Mr. Schellentrager their gifts.
I think Y.K.W. likes Jessi Prest. I thought I heard (in 1st period art) Scott Chrise say Jessica! He likes you! And Y.K.W. said I do not!! sigh.
Holly G. made me a Aladdin, Monty Python, and Steve Wright tape. I like it better than my old Ali tape.
In art (Mrs. Gummou subbed) we are making masks. I'm making a Hawwiian evil dolphin named Kiko who punishes my enemies.
JANUARY 4th, 1994
Holly Stone told me that BOY said we were kinda going out. Lisa Hoffmann said when she asked him, he said yes.
Marc said Mike Klamut might beat up BOY because he thinks his girlfriend Sarah might like BOY. BOY knows nothing about any of this.
He was absent yesterday because he was at a funeral, his Gramma.
JANUARY 4th, 1995
I watched auditions today. GIRL was terrible, but you never know. Katie was good. She'd make a good Mrs. Paroo, too, so maybe I will get Marion maybe.
Matt was talking to Heinrich (who was watching too) and asked him if he liked my hair short or long. He said he likes it better now. Maybe he doesn't hate me.
JANUARY 4th, 1996
Yesterday was a snow day so Sharon came over then we went to McDonald's and Walmart with Julie and took a tag off the new line of Richard Simmons clothes. It was fun. Then at home, I called Chris (I had a message that he called) and we talked for an hour or two.
Today was depressing and I can't pinpoint why. It may be that BOY obviously likes Julie, or that I can't figure out what to do about Chris, or the fact that I might not be able to do Brigadoon. We had a Masquers meeting today. We talked about Thespians (a new club we're joining (it's national)) and Brigadoon.
Well, I guess I'll go call Chris.
Oh yeah - Drew just called me and agreed to do the Talent Show with me (a band singing "What's Up?"
JANUARY 4th, 1999
My first day off since...a week ago? Work has been long, boring, and hard on my knees. I have taken to lying around watching TV and lifting weights in my free time.
Only four more days until I'm back in BG! I got my grades back and I'm in good shape. I have a 3.37 and am a junior now. I can't wait to go back. This week, I have my Cedar Point audition, then work on Thurs. and Sat., then leave Sat. night!
JANUARY 4th, 2004
Things just got a lot worse. Or a lot better. I don't know.
BOYFRIEND 4 has been so great these last few days. He came out with the fam and I to Pizza Hut and to see "Elf" again on Friday. He calls all the time. He's almost like a real boyfriend.
Then today. I went over BOY's and recorded a few songs for my demo. BOYFRIEND 4 joined us and we all went to Angelo's Pizza. I hinted that I should stop by his house for a minute before I went to work. So we got comfy on his bed for awhile. I gave him his late Xmas present, a Homestar Runner tee shirt.
He kept saying we have a problem. He was at fault for letting himself fall for me. But I totally wasn't expecting him to say this:
"I probably shouldn't say this right now. It's mean of me to say it before you leave. But I'm pretty sure I love you."
Holy shit. Of course I said I love you too. I can't believe he really said that. I almost didn't believe. He went on to say he hadn't said that to anyone in 2 years. I was completely shocked. He was pretty quiet.
I'm in denial. I have to move. We're not going to be together.
